Certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshops in Dublin and across Ireland, online and in-person

A different way to think, communicate and decide, especially when it matters most

When teams are under pressure, something predictable happens. Conversations stay at surface level. The same voices dominate. Decisions take longer, or don’t get made at all. Not because managers and teams aren’t capable — because they don’t have the space, or the structure, to think properly.

This is where LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® comes in.

Instead of talking about ideas, people build them

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is a facilitated method that helps people think more clearly by making their thinking visible. That simple shift slows thinking down (in a good way), brings everyone into the conversation, and unlocks insights that don’t come out in traditional discussions.

Every voice is heard. Every perspective is visible. And the quality of thinking improves immediately.

Two things that consistently land with the teams I work with:

It's genuinely inclusive
Everyone in the room builds. Everyone has an equal voice. The senior person and the new joiner contribute on the same terms,  because the LEGO is doing the talking, not the hierarchy. For teams where the same voices have been dominating meetings for years, this shift alone is worth booking the workshop for.

It works online, really well
This surprises people. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®  was built for in-person rooms, but the online format has become one of the things teams ask me for most.

For remote and hybrid teams who are jaded by the thought of another video call, another Miro board, another breakout room, building gives people something to do with their hands and a reason to look away from the screen. The energy is quite different. We send the LEGO ahead of the session; everyone builds at home; the conversation happens live. It's the closest thing to an in-person workshop a remote team will experience.

Why It Works

Because when people are stuck, it’s rarely because they don’t care, it’s because they’re in their heads.

They’re reacting instead of thinking. Or they can’t fully articulate what’s going on. The Lego® Serious Play® method bypasses all of that. It helps people process complexity, express ideas clearly, and move forward with shared understanding.

Fear isn’t random and it’s not a sign you’re on the wrong path. It’s information.

Common ways we use Lego® Serious Play® with teams and leaders

  • When everything feels urgent, thinking gets scattered. People react instead of prioritising. Focus is lost. We help teams step out of reactive mode, see what’s really driving the pressure, identify what actually matters, and create a clear way forward. The result: calmer thinking, clearer priorities, more effective action.

  • Repeating conversations. Disengaged meetings. Decisions that don’t land. Usually unspoken assumptions and incomplete understanding. LSP makes the thinking visible, surfaces what isn’t being said, builds shared understanding, and aligns the team on direction. The result: better conversations, stronger collaboration, faster decisions.

  • Change creates uncertainty, and uncertainty impacts performance. People resist, struggle to adapt, or feel overwhelmed by what’s expected. The workshop helps individuals understand their response to change, build resilience in a practical way, and regain a sense of control. The result: more confident, adaptable teams.

  • Sometimes the issue isn’t the problem — it’s how the team is approaching it. LSP creates space for new perspectives, creative problem-solving, and deeper thinking. The result: fresh ideas and more innovative solutions.

What Makes This Different

People aren’t sitting back listening. They’re thinking, building, reflecting, contributing.

That changes the energy in the room. The quality of conversation. And the outcomes you get.

As a certified Lego® Serious Play® facilitator with 20+ years of senior leadership experience, I bring two things to the room:

  • the rigour of the methodology, and

  • the lived experience of having been the leader trying to get a team unstuck

That combination is rare.
